Schedules

Classes start every Monday and are held five days a week except on certain Costa Rican Holidays. On these days, activities will be organized for students to experience and participate in the celebrations and rituals. National holidays include: Holy Thursday and Friday (April 8, April 9), Labor Day (May 1), Mother's Day (August 15), and Independence Day (September 15)

We offer classes for a minimum of 2 weeks and a recommended stay of 4 to 8 weeks for a more in depth learning experience.

All additional weeks over 8 are $285 per week
A $100 dollar non-refundable deposit is required to process your application.
Classes start every Monday and are held 5 days a week/4 hours a day
Students not utilizing the homestay will be placed in a house shared by other students or a nearby hotel under current seasonal rates. (ask about these rates on the phone or by email).

Refunds

The $100 registration fee paid to Pura Vida Language School is non-refundable. If we cannot enroll you in the program of your choice, you will be issued a full refund of your registration fee. All other payments made to Pura Vida Language School are fully refundable if you send us a written cancellation notice 2 weeks prior to your start date. Notices received less then 2 weeks away from your start date will incur a 25% penalty. In the case of personal emergencies, exceptions can be made under our discretion. Once classes begin, you are not entitled to a refund.
